I’m a Milan-based freelance writer and editor covering travel, culture, food, and drinks—especially the larger questions they raise about politics, history, and tradition.

Alongside feature writing, I’ve worked on dozens of advertorial and brand campaigns with NBCUniversal, BBC StoryWorks, CNN, Haymarket, and others.

Before moving to Milan in 2025, I lived in Tbilisi, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Previously, I was managing editor of BK, Bangkok’s most popular city magazine, and food and drink editor of Time Out Hong Kong.

I also publish Critical Drinking, a newsletter about beer, drinking culture, and alcohol-related issues.
